CSN Receives R$12.7 Billion Offer for Its Cement Business

On 30 October 2026, Brazilian steelmaker CSN signed a 10-day exclusivity agreement with China's Huaxin Building Materials Group to negotiate the sale of CSN Cimentos. The proposed transaction values the cement business at an enterprise value of R$12.7 billion, with definitive documentation still to be negotiated.
